Hanoi full day City tour
Tour starts from 8am and ends at 6pm.
Tour includes highlights of Hanoi such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his house on stilts; the former French Governor-General’s Palace; One Pillar Pagoda; Then visit temple of Literature, the first school of Vietnam; the fascinating Ethnology Museum which exhibits and preserves the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s different ethnic groups; the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Ancient houses in the Old quarter.
Enjoy a coffee break and an hour water puppets show – an art form unique to Vietnam was created by the farmers and dates back nearly a thousands years before ending tour.
HANOI - Countryside
Tour of traditional handicraft villages
Leave hotel at 8am, an hour/40km drive to Ha Tay for about 40 minutes to Phu Vinh bamboo basketry and rattan. We start walk/biking from this village, crossing the rice fields to the next villages and Tram Gian pagoda which is one of the oldest pagodas in this region and then we walk through Tram village that is famous for stone caving. Lunch in a local restaurant ( it is about 5km), after lunch we keep walking through couple of others villages, rice paddies with a wonderful and romantic views of countryside along the Day river to Chuong Village( the most famous of conical hat) to learn how the process of making a conical hat for practical use and for perfom and then we walk to Vac village ( famous for making bird case). We will have chance to meet and learn about the daily life of the farmers around the Red river delta as well as their traditional custom and culture value. Walk is approximately about 9km/Biking distance is about 20-25km, pick up and transfer back to Ha Noi at around 6pm. (B,L)
HANOI - VAN PHUC SILK VILLAGE - BAT TRANG CERAMIC VILLAGE
Van Phuc Silk village
Located 15km west of Ha Noi, Van Phuc is renowned for centuries of silk making and silk products. The streets of Van Phuc, lined with modern store fronts selling beautiful silk clothes and fabrics, are abuzz with looms and sewing machines. The local silk is known for its smooth and lightweight appearance, qualities that enable it to be dyed many colours to suit a variety of skin tones. You can buy ready made garments or buy the raw fabric of your liking and have one of Ha Noi’s famous tailors custom craft your clothes.
Bat Trang Ceramic village.
Located along the banks of the Red River, Bat Trang is definitely 's most famous ceramic village. Ancestors of today’s ceramic artisans began their crafts in world famous Bat Trang during the Ly Dynasty some 10 centuries ago. Local artisans are renowned around the world for the ceramic arts and have won many international awards. You’ll witness theses artisans at work as you roam down narrow alleys into shops where you’ll be able to buy their refined ceramics at unbelievable prices.
Ha Thai Lacquer Village
Outside of Hanoi - 1 day Biking trip in Hatay
Drive out of Hanoi about 30km to Ha Tay and bike to explore villages where there is quite probably the last remaining Vietnamese villages not affected by the world outside and modern developments: bamboo scenes, rice and maize fields, silent, simple life, natural and hospitable local farmers. Visit a pagoda where preserves many precious worshipping objects, wooden and stone bas-relieves and steles, lacquered statues, thrones, bells. Visit an ancient village which is nearly 1,200 years of history, where you trace back the origin of Vietnam's culture and traditions and explore the special architecture through its surviving laterite brick ancient houses. Lunch at a local house. Leisure biking around the village and making contact with the local, you can even take part in local people’s farm work if it is harvest time. Drive back Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Outside of Hanoi - 1 day Biking trip in Bac Ninh
Drive about 20 km out of Hanoi to Bac Ninh province – the cradle of Vietnamese culture. Unload our bikes and start cycling from the main dyke protecting Hanoi from the Red River, through the rice paddies and farms to visit a farmer’s house, a kiln where bricks are made and the stunning ancient But Thap pagoda. After a picnic lunch at the pagoda, continue to cycle to Dong Ho village where Vietnam traditional woodblock paintings are made. Here you can learn to make your own painting to bring home. Late afternoon return to Hanoi.

Outside of Hanoi - 1 day Biking trip in Hoa Lu - Tam coc
Drive about 80km/1,5hr out of Hanoi through Cuc Phuong national park, an important nature reserve and ecosystem with peaks of over 600 Meters and valleys of subtropical rainforest, cycle along to explore the wondrous nature scenery of Vanlong/Tamcoc - called Vietnam’s land-locked small “Inland Ha Long Bay”, through villages, rice fields and impressive limestone mountains, low limestone caves and grottos. Enter Hoa Lu, the site of the tenth century capital of the Vietnamese Kingdom of Dai Co Viet and the capital city of Vietnam before 1010 AD, and discover an important piece of the country’s early history in this “Ancient Capital”. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
