Hanoi, the national capital of Vietnam, is one of the most beautiful and beguiling cities in Asia. The city celebrates its 1000 years anniversary in 2010. Hanoi is both slow-paced and yet quick to charm, with its lovely landscape of lakes, shaded tree-lined boulevards, verdant public parks and imposing French-colonial architecture.

Hanoi is the home of traditional Vietnamese food and has many excellent eating houses for overseas visitors and locals alike.

Among Hanois sightseeing highlights are the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum; the National Art Museum; the grisly Hoa Lo Prison (also known as the infamous Hanoi Hilton); central Hoan Kiem Lake, where Hanoians enjoy brisk morning walks or tai chi in a tranquil city landmark that symbolizes the citys mythical origins; and the Old Quarter, whose narrow winding streets are named after the individual trades practiced here since the 15th century. Hanoi is Vietnam's cultural center, and the galleries, puppetry, music, and dance performances are worth staying at least a few days to take in.

Within a short drive (about 20-40km) from the city centre, you can visit traditional craft villages where craft folk pottery, fine ceramics, silk, embroidery, lacquer wares, silversmiths and other handicraft products are made. Please tell us your interests and we will arrange an itinerary just to suit your personal interests and time available.

Sisters Tours Vietnam can readily mix-and-match any tour content to perfectly suit your personal interests or activity levels.
